Supporting Our Frontline Heroes: Hatteras Helps Initiative in Memory of Beau Truesdale

During one of the most challenging times for our community, we wanted to do our part to support the incredible healthcare heroes caring for our neighbors. In loving memory of Beau Truesdale, our team joined the Hatteras Helps initiative, a community effort producing personal protective equipment (PPE) for hospitals across New Jersey and New York.

Thanks to the generosity of our owners, the Truesdale/Longhi family, we were able to help fund and produce 2,000 protective face shields. These were delivered to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, where doctors, nurses, and hospital staff continue to serve our community with courage and dedication.

Contributing in Beau’s memory reminded us of what he valued most: kindness, generosity, and caring for others. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this possible and hope our community continues to support efforts like Hatteras Helps. It’s a meaningful way for all of us to honor Beau’s spirit and give back together.
