The Inaugural Beau Thai Ball: Honoring Beau Truesdale and Supporting Pediatric Cancer

Point Pleasant, NJ – We were honored to host the first-ever Beau Thai Ball, a truly special evening celebrating the life and legacy of our beloved Beau Truesdale while supporting The Ashley Lauren Foundation, a nonprofit close to our hearts that provides hope and assistance to New Jersey families and children battling pediatric cancer.

Since its inaugural year, the Beau Thai Ball has become a cherished tradition for the Truesdale family and their guests. The 2025 event raised over $60,000, reflecting the generosity of the community and the enduring impact of Beau’s legacy.

Honoring Beau Truesdale

Beau, our former general manager and cherished family member, passed away in January 2020 at just 31 years old. Known for his compassion, integrity, and generosity, Beau touched the lives of everyone around him. The Beau Thai Ball was created to celebrate two of his great loves: the wedding industry and traveling, particularly to Thailand.

Jacqueline Truesdale, General Manager of the venues and Beau’s sister, shared:

“The Beau Thai Ball was an incredibly special evening, filled with love, laughter, and purpose — exactly how Beau would have wanted it. By hosting this event each year, we can continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children battling cancer, while ensuring Beau’s memory and values live on.”

A Night of Celebration and Impact

During the Beau Thai Ball, we were proud to announce the rebranding of all three of our family-owned wedding venues — Clark’s Landing in Point Pleasant, The Mill Lakeside Manor in Spring Lake, and The Bradford Estate in Hainesport — under the name Beau Truesdale Wedding Venues, in Beau’s honor.

“This name reflects the heart and soul of our family business — creating spaces where love is celebrated, memories are made, and everyone feels welcome,” Jacqueline added.

A New Chapter for Our Venues

Thanks to the generosity of our guests and community, the inaugural Beau Thai Ball raised over $60,000 for The Ashley Lauren Foundation. The night was filled with incredible energy, live music from The Ever After Band, and DJ entertainment by AJH – Don’t Miss a Beat Events. Local businesses also showed remarkable support by donating to the cause, helping make the evening unforgettable.

Looking Ahead

The Beau Thai Ball is now officially an annual tradition. Each year, we will gather to celebrate Beau’s life, bring our community together, and continue supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer. We are grateful for everyone who joined us for the inaugural event and look forward to many more years of honoring Beau’s legacy.
