At Beau Truesdale Wedding Venues, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. This year, our family made a heartfelt donation of $15,000 to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in memory of Robert Everett “Beau” Truesdale, our beloved former general manager of The Mill Lakeside Manor and Clarks Landing Yacht Club, and co-founder of The Mill Lakeside Manor.
Beau’s generosity and unwavering commitment to helping others continue to inspire our team. He had a remarkable gift for putting others first and making a difference in people’s lives—a spirit we carry forward through our venues and our charitable work.
So far in 2024, our family has also donated $20,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and $7,500 to the Ashley Lauren Foundation, a New Jersey nonprofit supporting children with cancer. With this donation to CHOP, our total giving this year has reached $42,500—part of our ongoing tradition of supporting causes Beau cared deeply about.
“We want to keep Beau’s spirit alive by continuing the good work he would have done,” says Jackie Truesdale. “Giving back and supporting those who need it most is a core part of who we are as a family and as a venue.”
Our commitment to philanthropy extends across The Bradford Estate, Clarks Landing Yacht Club, and The Mill Lakeside Manor. Through our venues, we strive to create unforgettable weddings while also making a positive impact on the local community.
